Athletic wear isn’t just reserved for the gym anymore.

For Spring/Summer 2014, designers served up serious sportswear with a side of glam. On the New York runways, we spotted playful tennis skirts at Tommy Hilfiger and Alexander Wang, silk-satin running shorts at Marc by Marc Jacobs, and mesh bomber jackets at Vera Wang.

Mesh jackets and track pants made an appearance at Gucci and chic sneakers walked the runway at Chanel’s Spring 2014 Couture show.
