About

Hi there! I’m Donna, a born-and-raised Jamaican who now lives in Toronto. Welcome to my space where I share my inspirations–fashion, food, health and wellness, ballet, my adventures in this city, and all the little details in life that make me smile.

I started this blog a year ago and it has surpassed even my wildest dreams. This little space has challenged me in ways I never thought possible. It has helped me to take risks, view the world through different lenses, and embrace each day as an adventure waiting to happen. It has given me true joy, vulnerability, a creative outlet, and a sense of community.

Things I love:

all-you-can-eat sushi, ballet, reading, salted caramel anything, MAC lipstick, Pinterest, movies in the park, random trips, ice skating, freshly fallen snow, the beach, fresh berries, travelling, babies, Christmas time, the smell of pine trees, the cold side of the pillow.

Thank you so much for stopping by! If you have any questions or just want to chat, drop me a line at donz.webb@gmail.com

Hello Ms. Donna. I found your blog via Ms. Turquoise and your award for her. I love your blog. We have much in common! I have left Jamaica…two times..the last time from the FDR resort in Runaway Bay….the second is I hope to be a cancer survivor here in a few months as I was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year. (Cancer is the new black) Congrats on beating yours! Third, most of my favorite bloggers hail from Toronto for some reason…I can’t figure that part out unless its a very artsie town. Keep up your great work Ms. D. Look forward to reading more!

No, we live in South Carolina but have visited Negril and Runaway Bay. And Montego bay Airport just may be my favorite air port with its Margaritaville cafe right at the gates. ~My recovery is going smoothly, I feel great but then again I never felt sick. I just hope we killed all the C-cells this first time. You look great for going through that treatment. I hope life continues to blossom for you!

Ok that’s amazing! I’m happy to here your recovery is going well. I actually didn’t need chemo or radiation luckily. I had 2 surgeries. One last August and the other in May. They were both successful. I’m just so grateful that they caught it in time.

You are a strong independent woman. Never let anyone tell you otherwise or try to take that away from you. I’ve had my brushes with death throughout the years and the feeling after it passes is astonishing to say the least. Keep it up with the great blogging.

Hope all is well. Just thinking of you! I haven’t been able to connect as much with my fast pace travels through Australia and New Zealand, but know that I think of you and hope you are well. P.S. I will be in Toronto on June 1st for the night.
