Happy Friday, all! Got any exciting plans for the weekend? Last year this time, I visited High Park to check out the cherry blossoms and have a picnic. Thanks to the long, harsh winter we had here in Toronto, the cherry blossom buds are still in hiding. The High Park Nature Centre is closely tracking and predicting when the Sakura trees will bloom this year. I can’t wait!
I hope the weather is nice and sunny in your corner of the world. Whatever you’re doing this weekend, stay safe.
If you’re staying indoors, here’s a roundup of posts from around the web to keep you company…
+ The weirdest things people Google every month.
+ The coolest offices in the world. Helloooo, Google and Inventionland Design Factory.
+ Cressida Bonas takes time off work to nurse her broken heart. Must be nice.
+ I love this question/answer session with Emily and her hubby, Geoffrey.
+ A lovely Mother’s Day gift guide.
+ This sneak peek at Free People’s May Catalog conjures up images of sun, sea, surf and sand.
+ This documentary connects the dots about food.
+ Love this post by Garance on the pressures of dressing up every time you leave the house.
+ Kayla reflects on her “magic age” in this post and it’s pretty brilliant. Made me smile.
+ The perfect song to kick off your weekend! Brings me back to those afternoons I’d race home to catch TRL.
Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
