Have you ever tried mixing patterns or materials before?

Tips:

  • If you’re a bit nervous about mixing patterns, try mixing textures like ruffles and lace, studs and denim or sequins and tulle.
  • You can also mix a pattern with a texture like a floral top with lace shorts or camo pants with a sequined jacket.
  • Pair an animal print bag or heels with your printed jeans for more subtle mixing.
  • Stick with one colour palette.
  • And most important, don’t forget to have fun!

I think I’ll give it a shot this spring…
