Buns took centre stage, braids got a makeover and ponytails came in all different shapes and sizes on the Fall 2014 runways. The extreme side part was all over the runways in New York and touched down in London and Paris. Makeup artists like Pat McGrath jazzed up the cat eye and played around with liquid latex, false eyelashes, and bold shadow. Metallics ruled the runways – glittery eyes at Altuzarra, gilded foreheads at Emilio Pucci, and metallic futuristic faces at Alexander McQueen.
